Light & Herby Cottage Cheese Dip
A fresh, creamy dip with a bright citrus note and a subtle savory depth from anchovies—perfect as a spread, dip, or light appetizer.
Ingredients
- 200 g cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Zest of ½ lime
- 5 anchovy fillets
- 5 sprigs fresh parsley (leaves only)
- 20 sprigs fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Extra olive oil, for drizzling (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Add the cottage cheese, honey, lime zest, anchovy fillets, parsley, chives, black pepper, and olive oil to a mixing bowl or tall container suitable for a hand blender.
- Blend everything together using a hand blender until smooth, light, and airy. Scrape down the sides if needed to ensure an even texture.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed—add extra pepper or a little more lime zest for brightness.
- Spoon the dip into a serving dish and finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top.
Serving
Serve in a Brisa deep shell plate for an elegant presentation, or simply use a bowl—both work beautifully. Pair with crusty bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
