Light & Herby Cottage Cheese Dip

A fresh, creamy dip with a bright citrus note and a subtle savory depth from anchovies—perfect as a spread, dip, or light appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 200 g cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Zest of ½ lime
  • 5 anchovy fillets
  • 5 sprigs fresh parsley (leaves only)
  • 20 sprigs fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Extra olive oil, for drizzling (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Add the cottage cheese, honey, lime zest, anchovy fillets, parsley, chives, black pepper, and olive oil to a mixing bowl or tall container suitable for a hand blender.
  2. Blend everything together using a hand blender until smooth, light, and airy. Scrape down the sides if needed to ensure an even texture.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed—add extra pepper or a little more lime zest for brightness.
  4. Spoon the dip into a serving dish and finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top.

Serving

Serve in a Brisa deep shell plate for an elegant presentation, or simply use a bowl—both work beautifully. Pair with crusty bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
